Osgoldcross and Elmet Rotary are now accepting applications for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Summer 2020 Programme. Successful candidates will receive funding to go on a six-day RYLA District 1040 leadership skills training course.
This course is an excellent opportunity for young people aged 16 & 17 to experience working in a team, learning more about themselves and about leading and supervising other people. There will be lots of indoor and outdoor activities which will help the candidate develop as an individual but also as a team member and even as a team leader.
To apply please send an email, stating in no more than 100 words why you would like to be selected for the 2020 Rotary District 1040 Youth Leadership Skills Development Programme, together with your details to firstname.lastname@example.org (Youth Development Officer) by the 15th November 2019.
Once applications have been received the Osgoldcross and Elmet Rotary will review them and invite those who are successful to a formal interview. Upon completing the interview candidates will be given feedback and informed of the outcome within five days. Candidates who are successful must be able to commit to the course dates.
