Getting involved with Rotary could be the most important thing you ever do. Your skills and experience are invaluable in our drive to help communities at home and around the world through our volunteer work, and whether you become a Rotary member or volunteer your time and abilities to your local club, you will be helping to make people’s lives better.
Local rotary is a registered charity and has such as clear governance criteria to ensure it fulfils its role as a charity. It has in place a structure, including a president (currently – June Lancaster), a treasurer (Richard Bennett), Secretary (Nigel Sugden) & website & BNG Coordinator (Rosie Crossley – associate member). Other members take roles that match their interests.
Each year we have our Presidents evening, this provides the opportunity to celebrate the success of the previous Rotary year which runs from June to May, and to agree on the objectives for the coming year.
