Working with Schools

We are very proud supporters of our community here at the Rotary, and we love to help and support all local schools in the area.

We help raise funds for both the primary and secondary schools in Sherburn and the surrounding areas by carrying out and supporting with fundraising events and activities.

We also provide the year 6 leavers at all local primary schools with a pocket dictionary, to help them as they move forward onto the next stage of their life at high school.

We work very closely with Sherburn High – offering the students excellent personal development opportunities to help increase their confidence and learn new skills. We also collaborate with the BNG and Sherburn High to offer students business knowledge and experience.
